RAINBOW WAR
The project RAINBOW WAR started with the interest in color, chaos and order. As a start we collected all kind of interesting topics, art, articles, scientific subjects, etc. about color and posted these on a blog to create an overview and inspire us. After 6 months of collecting we joined in Amsterdam and came up with the idea to test our collaboration and design a series of posters within a week. We took all of our inspiration and wrote ‘first impression' sentences. We mixed these to titles, and those became the seven titles for the series. Josef Albers made an interesting color diagram from the reversed Goethe color star, which shows a combination of colors connected to an emotion. These are the combinations of colors we used for the RAINBOW posters, every poster stands for an emotion. All A0 posters are made out of A4-sticker sheets (by hand and inkjet printer).
